Marion County deputies have reported the arrest of a 56-year-old Florida man who made multiple unwarranted 911 calls over a span of two days. The incident unfolded on September 25 when deputies initially responded to a dispute involving James William Jubane and his neighbor. During this encounter, Jubane asserted his authority, insisting that the deputies conduct their investigation according to his demands.

While the deputies were still present at the scene, Jubane began dialing 911 repeatedly. The deputies promptly reminded Jubane that if he had concerns he wished to address with a supervisor, he should utilize the sheriff’s non-emergency number. Despite this guidance, approximately an hour after the deputies had departed the vicinity, Jubane persisted in making several more 911 calls over the ensuing two days, none of which were related to emergency situations.

Jubane’s actions ultimately led to his arrest, as he disregarded the appropriate channels for non-emergency matters, causing undue strain on emergency services.
