CHICAGO – The American Red Cross has announced that due to the ongoing pandemic, blood, platelet and plasma donors are as essential as ever. They also supply about 40% of the nation’s blood. A number of upcoming opportunities to donate will be coming up this week, including in Streator on Thursday at the Knights of Columbus from 1 PM – 6 PM and in Ottawa at the First Baptist Church from 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM
