MENDOTA- The LaSalle County Health Department has announced a temporary drive-through COVID-19 nasal swab testing event to be held in Mendota. Sponsored by the State of Illinois, the site will be set-up on Saturday, September 26th and Sunday, September 27th from 9 AM to 5 PM at the Mendota Civic Center, 1901 Tom Merwin Dr. There is no cost for the testing, but you should bring your insurance card. You can still be tested if you do not have insurance and you will be called with results within 4-7 business days.
