Help pick out a name for the new bison at Buffalo Rock State Park

OTTAWA – Pebbles the bison welcomed her new roommate to Buffalo Rock State Park on Thursday. Site Superintendent for I & M Canals State Trail Daniel Bell and technicians introduced the 2-year-old female to 14-year-old Pebbles, Thursday morning. Bell says there is no name for the nearly 1000 pound bison, however conservation education representatives will contact local school to come up with some ideas like they did for Pebbles years ago.
