STREATOR – A facade grant was awarded to 409 East Main Street in Streator. The project is part of a Tax Increment Finance Redevelopment Agreement with the city, that includes a $15,000 facade grant to assist in exterior renovations and $60,000 of direct reimbursement following the completion of eligible work. The project consists of complete removal and re-bricking of the front facade, replacing windows, a new awning, entrance door, and decorative lighting. The $120,000 project is expected to begin in the next two weeks.
