LA SALLE COUNTY — La Salle County Sheriff’s continue investigating a home invasion that took place early Monday morning near Marseilles. Authorities say it took place at a home in rural Marseilles. Authorities say the armed intruders took an undisclosed amount of items and then left. The homeowner was not harmed during the incident. No other information has been released at this time.
Authorities also say a weekend burglary at a store in northeastern La Salle County is still under investigation. Sheriff’s office officials say forced entry was made to the Norway Store in the 3600-block of Illinois Route 71 just before midnight on Saturday, where undisclosed items were taken from the business. Authorities are asking anyone with information on the burglary to contact the La Salle County Sheriff’s office.
