PERU — A California man was arrested last week after he allegedly had over 20 pounds of marijuana in his car. Illinois State Police say troopers stopped 39-year old Parker Bradtmiller at the intersection of Plank Road and May Road in Peru. Authorities say a K-9 unit was called in to check out the car, and gave a positive hit to the drugs in the car. Police say they discovered 23 pounds of marijuana in the vehicle. The man was arrested and charged with possession with the intent to deliver and was taken to the La Salle County Jail and is being held on a $100,000 bond.
