Spring Valley’s cell tower property peaks interest

SPRING VALLEY – A cell tower that Spring Valley leases is peaking interest. In a city council meeting on Monday, talks of selling the tower located by the city’s water treatment plant continued, with the news of two other outfits interested in the property. Vertical Bridge company made an offer of 202,000 to purchase tower, however Mayor Marini recommended holding off on a decision until getting bids from other hopefuls. The council is also considering hanging onto the property, due to its recent high demand. The city’s cell tower contract ends in 2021.
