Representative Kinzinger calls for 25th Amendment removal of the President

WASHINGTON – Representative Adam Kinzinger of Illinois has called for the removal of the President using a clause in the 25th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. In a video released Thursday, he said that Trump enflamed passions that gave fuel to the insurrection seen when protestors stormed Capitol Hill.
“It is for this reason that I call for the Vice-President and members of the Cabinet to ensure the next few weeks are safe for the American people, and that we have a sane captain of the ship.” Kinzinger said.
Section Four of the 25th Amendment allows for the Vice President and a majority of the officers in the cabinet to inform the Legislative Branch that the sitting President is unable to do his duties, and that the Vice President should assume the office as acting President.
“The President caused this, the President is unfit and the President is unwell.” claimed the 16th congressional district Republican.
