Peru activates emergency operations center

PERU – The Emergency Operations Center for the city of Peru was opened and activated by Mayor Harl on Monday. The EOC will serve as the Incident Command post for the City of Peru, with Police Chief Bernabei or Fire Chief King assuming the role of Incident Commander under the direction of the Mayor. The center will be in operation from 8 AM to 4PM Monday through Friday, but hours and days will be adjusted depending on the need.
