Pair of Mendota men arrested in separate TRI-DENT drug investigations

OGLESBY – The Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics team announced that two Mendota men are facing charges after an investigation into drug sales.

On July 24th the Peru Police Department took 20-year-old Christopher Biederstedt into custody on a felony warrant for Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance.  TRI-DENT says that during an investigation, Biederstedt allegedly delivered 20 Adderall prescription pills to them.  Adderall is a Schedule II prescription medicine that contains the highly addictive substance of amphetamine.  He is now being held at the LaSalle County Jail on $1,000,000.

On July 27th, another Mendota man, 21-year-old Caleb L. Wilson was arrested on a felony warrant for Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Cocaine by the Mendota Police Department.  During the investigation prior to his arrest, Wilson allegedly delivered more than one gram of purported cocaine to TRIDENT.  Wilson is being held at the LaSalle County Jail on $1,000,000 bond.
