OTTAWA – A rural Ottawa motorcycle crash on Tuesday sent a 24-year old man to a Peoria hospital by helicopter. The LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office says that they were called to a single vehicle cycle crash around 4:30 PM near 1300 North 2401st Road. Grand Ridge EMS treated Dean Thomas of Ottawa before he was life flighted to OSF St. Frances. Word on his current condition was unavailable and the incident is still under investigation.
