Streator Elementary School District 44 Registration Fees & Dates
Knights of Columbus K-8 Tuesday July 26th and Wednesday July 27th from noon until 6pm. All buildings will register at the Knights of Columbus Hall. (do NOT call the K of C for registration info)
Proof of residency is REQUIRED for all students. Please bring current phone, utility, or tax bill to registration.
Birth Certificates are REQUIRED for all pre-school, kindergarten, and new or transfer students. Please supply Medicaid numbers if Medicaid eligible.
Physicals must be turned into your child’s school office on or before the first day of school. REQUIRED for pre-school, kindergarten and sixth grade. Physicals are also REQUIRED for all new or transfer student from a school other than the State of Illinois.
Dental exam is REQUIRED for kindergarten, second and sixth grade students. The required date to have this turned in by is May 15th, 2017. Info regarding dental clinics will be available at registration.
Immunizations are REQUIRED to be up to date.
Vision examinations are REQUIRED for kindergarten or if entering an Illinois school for the first time before October 15th, of the school year.
Lead screening is REQUIRED for children age six years or younger prior to admission to a pre-school, nursery, kindergarten or other child care program. Streator is a high risk zip code so one blood lead level is required to be done ideally between 1-2 years of age.
Streator Elementary District #44 will continue to participate in the Community Eligibility Provision for the 2016-17 school year. CEP allows our district to provide healthy breakfasts and lunches each day at no charge for ALL K-8th grade students enrolled in our school district during the 2016-17 school year.
ECSE & Kindergarten – $75.00
Grades 1 through 8 – $85.00
Technology Fee Grades K-8 – $10
Pre-school for All – No Charge (partially Grant Funded)
Registration packets will be available for pick up at Northlawn and the admin building starting July 5th. The packets are also available on our website www.ses44.net.
