Oglesby – Hometown Heros

Join us for one of the finest parades in our area, as we honor our hometown heroes on Sunday, July 10th, at noon.
Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Illinois Valley Community Hospital, waves of bands, Shriners, floats, clowns, marching units, color guards, firemen, military units and much, much more will hit Oglesby’s downtown.
Organizers are also urging motorcyclists to help lead the parade through downtown.

Parade begins at Trexler Ave. and Walnut Street (by the Elks) and concludes at Columbia Avenue and Walnut Street (by Casey’s). The parade route is approximately 1.25 miles long.
