Illinois Valley Community College hosts the “IVCC-Franklin 3+1 Bachelor’s Degree Information Session” from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27 in the Fireplace Lounge Room B216.
This free event features a representative from Franklin University sharing information about the 3+1 program with current and prospective IVCC students.
3+1 allows students to attend IVCC for 3 years, transfer up to 94 credit hours and complete their bachelor’s degree in a fourth year online through Franklin.
Some programs of study include accounting, business administration, communications, computer science, criminal justice administration, exercise science, financial management, forensic accounting, health sciences, human resources management, information technology, logistics management, marketing, nursing, supply chain, social sciences and sport management.
IVCC accounting instructor Amber Fox said, “With over 40 programs available, this is a great opportunity for our students to receive a bachelor’s degree without leaving the Illinois Valley.”
