March 11th – Race Start Time is 10:00am
Race starts and ends at HCS.  Race will be through the streets of Mendota.  No trail running.  USATF Certificate IL 17002NM.  All proceeds go to Holy Cross School.  Start time is 10:00am.  Registration/Check-In opens race day at 8:30am at Holy Cross School gym.  Shamrock kids dash follows 5K.  Awards will be presented to the 1st overall male and female runners in 5K 1st – 3rd places will be awarded medals in each age division for male/female.  Prize for best dressed!  (think green)
Everyone on the 5K must be fully registered, $30 walk-up registrations.  $25 prior to March 1st.  T-shirts are guaranteed to all per-registrants, given out until supply runs out for day or late registrations.  Register online with a credit card at www.runrace.net  For those who have pre-registered packet pickup will be March 11th from 8:30 – 9:45 at Holy Cross School.  There will be rest room facilities on site.  Light refreshments will be provided after the race while we wait to finish.  Also, an area will be provided with fun St. Patty’s Day themed props for participants to take photos.  The awards ceremony will take place immediately following race, awarding medals to the winners.
