Bill Myers, the Starved Rock storyteller, will perform an Irish program at the Starved Rock State Park Visitors Center on Sunday, March 12th at 1:30pm.
The St. Patrick’s Day program will feature Irish folktales, poems and songs. “Return of the Native” by the late Robert Taylor Burns tells the story of Starved Rock and the history of Illinois up through the Blackhawk War of 1832.
Open to the public and free of charge. Myers storytelling is aimed for all ages and is sponsored by The Starved Rock Foundation.
