Illinois National Guard helicopters move hurricane relief supplies
SPRINGFIELD – Illinois National Guard troops have begun assisting those areas affected by Hurricane Florence. Aircraft and soldiers transported 28,000 pounds of food, water, and relief supplies to a hospital in the disaster area Sept. 17.
