LASALLE – By next year, LaSalle residents will have a new waste disposal service. After feedback from the community, LaSalle’s City Council made official action on Monday by approving Lakeshore Recycling Services as their new garbage collection provider beginning in February. The city will also be switching to LRS bins that are able to store nearly 3 times the material previously accepted with the current bins. Residents will receive one for garbage and one for recycling. The city fully expects residents to be satisfied with the new services.
