Perry Memorial – Monthly Diabetes Meeting

The diagnosis of diabetes is becoming more common than many other health conditions. Ongoing management of diabetes is important in limiting the complications which can develop with diabetes.  An individual with diabetes must learn many lifestyle changes in order to take control of the disease and decrease the complications and the impact on their quality of life.
Change isn’t always easy and especially difficult if it is being done without support.  Perry Memorial Hospital wants to provide information and support to those who are dealing with diabetes.  Each month, on the 2^nd Tuesday, Perry has an informational meeting to provide up-to-date guidelines and realistic ways to manage the diagnosis of diabetes.  There will also be time at each meeting for open discussion and sharing of ideas.  Please come and join in the team spirit of diabetes management!
