One dead in rollover crash near Troy Grove

TROY GROVE — A suburban Chicago man was killed in a single-vehicle accident yesterday morning near Troy Grove. Illinois State Police say they responded to the incident just after 8:30 yesterday morning for a rollover crash. Authorities say 64-year old Wendell Mathison of Shorewood was northbound on Interstate 39, when he left the the roadway into the center median, then rolled over several times before coming to rest on it’s roof. Authorities say Mathison was pronounced dead at the scene.
