LA SALLE COUNTY — Authorities have released the name of the Sandwich teen who was killed in an automobile accident on Wednesday afternoon. La Salle County Coroner Bill Wujek says 17-year old Austin Crabbe was killed after he was struck by 66-year old Sarah Coleman of Mendota at the intersection of US Route 52 and East 2603rd Road in between Norway and Sheridan. Authorities say Crabbe failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection, and was subsequently hit by Coleman. Crabbe was later pronounced dead at Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital in Ottawa.
