STERLING – An ambulance was stolen from a hospital Saturday afternoon and crashed in Whiteside County. In a release from CGH medical center, they say a patient fled the Emergency Room and allegedly took the vehicle and left the property. A short distance later the Ambulance crashed into another vehicle. The suspect and the driver of the other vehicle required medical attention and charges may be pending as the investigation continues with the Sterling Police Department.
