STREATOR – The city of Streator’s Center Street Sewer Project starts next spring. At the city’s last council meeting for the year, they approved to submit a permit through the Illinois Department of Transportation to allow for construction in the spring. The city plans to install a new sanitary and storm sewer main along Center Street from 12th Street to Coal Run Creek as well as install storm sewers along 9th through 11th streets.
