River Currents, Illinois Valley Community College’s literary and art publication, is hosting its 2019 issue launch party from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, May 9 in Room C316. Guests can join the celebration of this year’s student writers and artists with an open-mic hour at noon, free copies of the book and refreshments. This event is free and open to the public.
