SPRING VALLEY – A six vehicle accident in Bureau County injured four people yesterday. Illinois State Police were called after 8AM for a reported collision on I-80 between Princeton and Spring Valley. David Rakestraw of Annawan, was driving into the construction zone, when he allegedly off a chain of collisions that ultimately involved 6 vehicles including his own. Four people were transported to area hospitals. The incident remains under investigation by Illinois State Police and the Illinois State Police Crash Reconstruction Unit.
