COMPTON – An injured bald eagle was rescued by the Illinois Conservation Police in southern Lee County. Thursday morning authorities were notified of the injured bird near Church Road. An area resident and Conservation Officers were able to safely capture the Eagle and transport it to HooHaven.org.
