A Florida man attempted to “run” on water from Florida to London in a hamster wheel. The wheel was equipped with floatation devices on each side. When the Coast Guard caught up with him he became agitated and allegedly stated that he was going to kill himself with a 12″ knife he had with him. He also stated that he had a bomb on board. He floated for an additional three days until he washed up on shore in Miami Beach, Florida. This isn’t his first attempt at running on water, a couple of years ago he attempted to run from Florida to New York before the Coast Guard intervened.
