Fights suspend play at soccer tournament dedicated to world peace

Fighting between teams at a soccer tournament dedicated to peace in Canada caused the event to be postponed.  Edmonton Police say they were called to a school to break up a skirmish that involved individuals from teams who picked up boards and other objects to use as weapons. Organizers say they were upset by the incident, and intend to reschedule some of the matches for next weekend.

Police say the brawl between two groups from Eritrea, one pro-government and one opposed, were the cause of the riot.  Several individuals received minor injuries.
