Pink sandal left at the scene of possible abduction in Peru

 
PERU –Detectives have discovered a pink sandal in the vicinity of where a possible abduction occurred Monday morning in Peru. New information has been released in regards to the probable kidnapping that occurred just before 5 a.m. in the area of 7th and Plumb Street. Authorities say a person living near the area called 9-1-1 reporting hearing a female screaming for help. Law enforcement says they collected evidence from the scene indicating the female victim was taken against her will. Authorities say the pink-tie-dye-colored sandal is size 7.5, “Rouge” brand.  Peru Police also released still images of a video they say may show a vehicle involved. Video surveillance shows the suspect vehicle to be a large white SUV, possibly a Ford. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Peru Police immediately at (815)223-2151 ext. 0.
