A 27-year-old named Jay Withey in Buffalo, New York who had become a stranded motorist during the blizzard broke into a school to find shelter.  Breaking in wasn’t the only thing he did though.  He is being called a hero, after breaking in, he went back out into the blizzard and rescued 24 additional stranded motorists and brought them back to the school.  They hunkered down in the school using blankets from the nurses office, food from the kitchen, and keeping warm in classrooms.
When he left the school after the storm passed he left a note apologizing for breaking into the school.  When police found him, they thanked him for rescuing other stranded motorists.
