Kennedy Kane, Ottawa softball shut down Streator after leadoff homer

Ottawa’s Kennedy Kane gave up a home run to the first batter she faced Thursday, but she and reliever Addie Russell didn’t give up anything else as the Pirates defeated the host Bulldogs 5-1.
