  1. Spumoni (spoo-MOH-nee) – Spumoni is a layered mix of ice cream in three flavors: chocolate, pistachio, and maraschino cherry
  2. Affogato (ah-foh-GAH-toh) – Italian coffee-based dessert with a scoop of plain milk-flavored or vanilla gelato or ice cream topped or “drowned” with a shot of hot espresso.
  3. Baked Alaska – a cake and ice cream dessert topped with a caramelized meringue topping.
  4. Choco Taco – a flat, circular waffle cone folded to resemble a hard taco shell, vanilla ice cream, fudge, peanuts, and a milk chocolate coating.
  5. Sorbet (sor-BAY) – ice combined with fruit juice, fruit purée, or other ingredients, such as wine, liqueur, or honey. Generally, sorbets do not contain dairy products.
  6. Semifreddo (seh-mee-FRAY-doh) – made with egg yolks, sugar, and cream, it has the texture of frozen mousse or cake, and this dessert is not churned like ice cream.
  7. Gelato – has a higher proportion of milk and a lower proportion of cream and eggs, and is churned at a much slower rate.
  8. Parfait (par-FAY) – made by boiling cream, egg, sugar, and syrup to create a custard-like or meringue-like puree which is then frozen.   Typically layered with granola and or fresh fruit
  9. Granita (gruh-NEE-tah) – a frozen fruit dessert made from fresh fruit and water, blended and frozen until icy, flaked with a fork and frozen again.
  10. Sherbet –  a frozen dessert made from sugar-sweetened water, a dairy product such as cream or milk, and a flavoring.
