CAMBRIDGE – Francesca Gino, a behavioral science professor at the Harvard Business School who studies honesty, as well is an award winning researcher has been accused of allegedly falsifying data on a research paper from 2012. A paper that she co-authored was retracted from the “National Academy of Sciences”. The paper found that people who signed “truthfulness declarations” at the top of tax and insurance forms were more honest than those who signed them at the bottom. She was also accused by three other professors at different universities of falsifying data.
