PRINCETON – The National Weather Service is looking into reports of damaging hail after a thunderstorm moved across North Central Illinois on Wednesday afternoon. Meteorologists would like to hear from residents in northeast Bureau County who experienced large and possibly damaging hail between 3 and 3:45 PM. Some preliminary reports stated some hailstones were golf ball sized.
