NAPLES, FL — A man in Naples was recently arrested after attempting to impersonate an officer. He was seen on I-75 in a black charger that had been decked out with lights, antenna’s, and radar. He also had a laptop in his car that was visible through his open windows. An officer witnessed his behavior and pulled up along side the vehicle. The man shouted to the officer that he was a retired cop. The officer told him he was calling backup and that the man needed to pull over. Once pulled over, he showed the officer a badge and ID from a Mississippi department. When the officer began to inspect it, the man tried to get it back and began to have a physical struggle. The man was handcuffed and arrested on a misdemeanor charge of resisting an officer without violence. Investigators say Bowles was never a certified law enforcement officer in Mississippi,
