PERU – The Blue & Red Christmas for Kids program is back and the Peru Police Department is accepting donations of all kinds. On Monday the city of Peru donated $2500 to the gift-giving program for local kids in need. Deputy Chief Sarah Raymond says this year she has about 35 families with around 50 kids in the area in need.
