STREATOR – A Chicago woman was found guilty in the shooting death of a Streator woman, Friday. 22-year-old Ashanti D. Roberts was found Guilty of Felony First Degree Murder by a LaSalle County Judge for the shooting death of 33-year-old Maria M De la Torre on May 22nd last year. De La Torre was struck twice in the chest on 9th street in Streator. Sentencing for Roberts will take place on July 26th.
