STREATOR – Streator added new road projects to their plans for this year. City Engineer Jeremy Palm was pleased to announce that $100,000 was left over from existing construction projects. The city plans to use the extra cash to do maintenance work along Geneske Court, Rhett Butler Drive, the 800 block of West Stanton and Powell Street. New asphalt will be overlaid on Geneske Court and Stanton street, concrete patching on Rhett Butler Drive and partial overlay on Powell Street.
