Poco a Poco Music Festival coming back to Streator

STREATOR – A music festival that provides training for young musicians is coming back this summer to Streator. Poco a Poco  is scheduled for June 9th, through June 15th, featuring performances from students and a faculty of professional singers picked by Executive Director and Founder, Kate Tombaugh (TOM-BAW). Core training will include voice lessons, vocal coaching and choral rehearsals, with opportunities for private piano lessons and small group theory sessions.  Kate says it’S not necessary for voice to be the primary instrument in order to be involved. Applications are available now and due March 1st with live auditions in Streator March 14th and 16th.
