STREATOR — Some new faces will be seen around Streator High School starting in the 2016-2017 school year. At last night’s board meeting, the board unanimously approved the hiring of Jamie Kotovsky as the new band director. Superintendent Matt Seaton says Kotovsky currently works as a junior high teacher in Kankakee, and is known to have a great marching repertoire. Kotovsky replaces David Grayson, whose resignation was accepted in the March board meeting. Also hired on where Antonella Pinto and Heather Dorton as the new guidance counselors. Seaton said Pinto is a new grad from Bloomingdale, while Dorton currently works within Ottawa High School.
