PERU — A late morning drug arrest in Peru on Wednesday marked the 12th of it’s kind in 12 weeks for Peru Police. Chief Doug Bernabei says officers served an arrest warrant on 26-year old Spencer Miskowiec at his apartment in the 1300-block of Maple Drive. Bernabei says Miskowiec allegedly delivered heroin to undercover agents on multiple occasions. Miskowiec was taken to the La Salle County Jail charged with two counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, and his bond is set at $2 million.
