PEORIA / SPRING VALLEY — A Spring Valley woman who was hit by a car last week has died. The Bureau County Sheriff’s Office says 33-year old Nicole Leeper was pronounced dead early yesterday morning at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Authorities say Leeper was hit by a car driven by a Spring Valley man after she had gotten out of her car to move a deer that she had just hit out of the road.
