Heroin bust made in Streator

STREATOR — Two Streator people have been arrested following an investigation into heroin sales. Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics officials say 31-year old Jason Mueler and 25-year old Brittany Rios-Lester were arrested at their residence on Ralph Plum Street, after the two sold heroin to Trident agents on previous occasions. Officials say Rios-Lester was also arrested in Peru in July 2015 for selling heroin to Trident agents. Mueler and Rios-Lester were taken to the La Salle County Jail, bonds set at $500,000.
