Boil order for north side of Streator

STREATOR — A boil order is in effect for residents on the north side of Streator. Officials with Illinois American Water confirmed Wednesday morning that there was a water main break, however have not been able to locate it. The boil order is for residents and businesses north of Bronson Street and east of Kangley Road. IAW officials say the boil order is in effect until further notice, and standard procedure says the order will be in effect for at least 36 hours. We will pass along more information when updates are provided by IAW.
