SPRINGFIELD – Dr. Ezike urged residents to learn to co-exist with COVID-19 on Friday and continue to wear masks in public and practice social distancing.   The Director of the Illinois Department of Public Health announced 2,758 new infections with 110 additional deaths.  Increased testing has revealed more cases, with the previous 24 hour total more than double of the Governor’s goal of over 10,000 tests given a day.
