At the Illinois Governor’s Conference on Tourism Monday night in Springfield, Streator Tourism won the award for best tourism marketing campaign at the Illinois Excellence in Tourism Awards. The award honor innovative tourism marketing initiatives that promote the outstanding destinations, attractions and events throughout the State of Illinois. They will be recognized by the Illinois Office of Tourism and Illinois Council of Convention and Visitor Bureaus newsletters for their Year of Pluto events and activities.
