State to provide millions of masks as schools prepare for autumn

SPRINGFIELD- The Illinois State Board of Education and the Illinois Department of Public Health released guidance for bringing students back this fall.  Governor J.B. Pritzker also announced that the State will make 2.5 million masks available for free for students and staff in all K-12 public school districts in the state.   Face coverings, social distancing, temperature screenings, and limiting gatherings to under 50 people will be just some of the new changes coming to the 852 school districts in Illinois.
