OSF pledges money towards Ottawa Kiwanis Playground

OTTAWA — The Ottawa Kiwanis Playground project has received another large pledge to help them towards their goal. Officials announced yesterday that a $25,000 pledge was given to the project from OSF Saint Elizabeth’s and the Children’s Hospital of Illinois to help the Kiwanis club towards their $250,000 goal. Last year, the Ottawa Kiwanis Club won $25,000 from the Legacy of Play contest to help a project for a playground that is ADA compliant and allows children with disabilities to play on. The group has received more than $113,000 so far in donations and pledges.
