PERU – A 37-year old Marionette Park man is unhurt after a double-header tractor-trailer he was driving left I-80 and crashed through trees and guardrails. The Illinois State Police say around 10:30 AM the driver was traveling eastbound when, for unknown reasons, while trying to use the exit 75 ramp to Illinois 251, he lost control and proceeded about 40 yards into the back edge of a nearby restaurant’s parking lot. A light pole was damaged and the driver was cited for improper lane usage, but no other injuries were reported.
